Baghdad, February 2, 2025: The Iraqi Ministry of Health has signed a cooperation agreement with Sanofi, an innovative global healthcare company, to strengthen capabilities in healthcare and public health awareness under the “Imcan” program. This agreement sets a pioneering model for public-private partnership, reflecting Iraq’s commitment to developing its healthcare system in line with the highest international standards.
The signing ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al – Hasnawi, Minister of Health, H.E. Patrick Durel, Ambassador of France to Iraq, Dr. Rami Nassar, Head of Pharma for the Levant and Country Lead of Sanofi in Jordan, and Mr. Marwan Sharif, Head of Vaccines for the Levant at Sanofi, alongside senior officials from the Ministry of Health and media representatives.
